As anyone who's played Diablo 2 knows, ladder play has always been a staple of the game, and it's returning in Diablo 2: Resurrected. Diablo 2's ladders typically last no less than a few months, with all players starting over with new characters and an empty inventory. This resets the economy and gives Diablo 2 Resurrected Runes players a chance to compete for the top of the XP leaderboard.
Diablo 2: Resurrected's first ranked season doesn't have a firm date yet, but it's expected to launch in the near future. Patch 2.4 was released to the public beta realm on January 25, and an initial two-week PTR period gave players on PC the opportunity to test out countless changes to class skills, mercenaries, Runewords, and more.

The PTR for patch 2.4 is expected to be restored after maintenance is complete. Assuming players only get a beta period, and it lasts two weeks after the PTR reboot, this could give players a ladder start date sometime in mid-March. Ladder activation will be delayed if more testing time is required or the next testing time is more than two weeks.
According to the official news, the ranked game will have four different ways to play, including extended and non-expanded content in the standard and hardcore versions. This will allow players who prefer the first four acts to compete with other Diablo 2 Resurrected Items For Sale players in softcore and hardcore modes, as well as the more popular expansion mode, which most players prefer, to complete all five acts.
The team at Diablo 2: Resurrected says new runes, Horadric Cube recipes, class skill tweaks, mercenary tweaks, unique items, and more will be available in the first Ranked Season. A lot of this content is only available to those who join the ladder game. MMOWTS Diablo 2 Resurrected Items are Being Sold for Record Prices.
