I must say, before I start to go into my blogI LOVE CHED EVANS!Lets not liehe is quite good lookingWith the arrival of Craig Bellamy in January, ChedEvans has unfortunatleybeen pushed Jimmie Ward Jersey down the pecking order and may look to seek a loan move in order to find first-team football in the summer. However I still keep my fingers cro sed that Sparky will give him the chance he deserves? I mean, lets be honestwhy would we play Caicedo? Why would we play Robinho away from home? These questions can be answered fairly simply, with the wordsI really dont know?. My strong feeling is that Ched would certainly fight for his place, unlike Caicedo who just thinks he has that spot all to himself at the moment with Bellamy out. He is also without a doubt physically able to compete at this very high standard, which is great, especially with small players like SWP and Robinho on the pitch. He has a natural scoring talent and he takes his chances really well, which shows his finishing is simply stunning. He offers somethings different. He is like finding a razor blade in a bonbon. Also, once Bellamy is back and raring to go, Ched could play alongside him, as they have done before for Wales. Ideal, no?Most will recognise this photofrom that back of my diary! He proved his worth almost immediately scoring in Norwichs 3-1 win at Barnsley that ended the Tykes twelve game unbeaten home run. I still hold firm the fact he should have been given more of an opportunity to play. I mean we had Emile Mpenza in the team, starting week in, week out. how do you think Ched felt?Ched was called up to the full Welsh squad in May 2008 for the friendly double-header with Iceland and the Netherlands. He was one of 10 players aged 21 or under in the 35-man Welsh squad.Evans indeed made his debut in the clash with Iceland, coming on as a 41st minute substitute, then scoring the only goal of the game three minutes later. It was arather cheeky backheel which was majestic to say the least!Following the goal, he was linked with a 1million move to Cardiff City. I was desperate for him to stay! Thankfully he did, a move I think will benefit him in the long run. So far this season, Ched has been influential when he has been on the pitch, creating a magnificent goal against Aston Villa, by chasing a ball everyone else would have given up on! His physical presense is commanding and defenders are worried by his sudden bursts of movement and his muscular stature!Ched is also a really great person. I saw him at The Trafford Centre, not too long ago, and unlike most other footballers San Francisco 49Ers Jersey who would just wave or say hello, I was able to actually have a chat with him whichI admire from such a young man. hilst I agree he has plenty to learn, I am just happy that he is being given a chance at City to prove what he is capable of.
