The latest version of the classic IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX carries the Tag XX naming. Like the Indicate XVIII, the case still measures 40mm across, though it seems as if the lugs are slightly shorter than ever. The biggest change lies within though: the watch is now powered by caliber 32111. All details of the new IWC Draw XVIII at this link.
now there is this new IWC Symbol XX with 5-day-PR and in-house movement. Bracelet as well as rubber strap coming later. To me, excellent watch. IWC-logo in the right spot (not too low). Date window position better than in XVIII.
Some nice improvements. Wish they hadn’t brought the polished bezel to the black model, kept the black date disc and not a fan of the actual rhodium handset. Otherwise, really solid. Was expecting more of a price rise tbh.
hot damn. solid improvements in this article. especially that 10bar WR rating. also not sure about the polished bezel, but we’ll see. hopefully they to produce white/ silver dial version.

I’ve seen a picture of the blue face Mark XX on bracelet, and it tapers similar to the BP43. Should wear really nicely.
Certainly a nice watch the particular Mark TWENTY but the day is still somewhat off IMO. I continue to prefer the Level XII and also XV when it comes to looks alone. Movement-wise it is hopefully a different story… The modified ETA of my Mark XV is giving me a headache after 20 years of mostly daily put on. The watch is yet again running slow 20s a day after and have been in the hands of the IWC authorized Patek AD twice along with serviced by Richemont once within the past 12 months.
My modified ETA in my IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX stops after 4-5 days even tough I wear it daily. I have to manually injure it daily. So yeah, also gives me some headaches.
1 . Great on the movement, PAGE RANK, and WR improvements.
2 . 40mm still too big for this long of all-dial watch.
3. Keeping track of down until the cease in addition to desist from SWATCH given the similar name plus origin towards the Breguet Type XX.
Also, I don’t know what’s more ironic: Engraving the back of a view designed right after an RAF timepiece with an image of a Luftwaffe transport, or Bulova’s A11 tributes featuring Miyota movements.
Perhaps an equal lack of historical understanding.
Visually, it’s practically identical to the Mk XVIII. The actual indices are longer at 12, 3, 6, and even 9. These longer charge make the time “appears” more close to the 3 o’clock position. But the reality is that it still should be further away from the center from the dial. The particular IWC Pilot’s Watch Make XX is also higher.
